We came all the way from California after seeing a TikTok video on the deep dish. The restaurant invited us to make reservations and here we are. When we walked in we were greeted by the kindest hostesses and the owner Chris immediately came to our table to welcome us. He was so kind and just a wonderful soul. We ordered the deep dish, an appetizer meatball and Chris complimented us with the BEST cheesecake ever. The food was AMAZING, the cheese the pull the SAUCE to DIE FOR! I highly recommend BARTOLINI. If I lived here I would be enjoying this restaurant weekly. Heavenly Father, continue to Bless Chris and his brother and this restaurant establishment. They are what is needed to help heal this broken world. May their business prosper and be a growing staple in their community. May they continue to be the light in this dark world. We are so impressed with the food and the service! Gluten free options for our son with special needs were excellent.... Lots to choose from. The owner was very involved, talking to customers, making sure we were taken care of. He made us feel as if we were the only customers..... LOL and the place was packed.... We loved it and will recommend it 1000%. We will be back next time we are in Chicago !
We ordered through Goldbelly for the first time ever. We wanted to do something nontraditional for Thanksgiving. We got a package of two deep dish pizzas and two thin crust. Everyone was absolutely blown away! It was probably the best pizza we have ever had! All of the flavors were spot on. The deep dish was so different than anything else we had ever had, and we were definitely not disappointed! We will absolutely be ordering again!
I'm a first-timer. Unfortunately, it's the last time, too. ( Don't get nervous.) But I highly recommend the place. The food is good. The staff is very, very friendly. We went with a party of about 20 and they kept up with the crowd. I didn't realize they were closing the restaurant down, but I'm looking forward to the brand new one on a 147th street. First time visiting this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. One of the owners visited our table to see how we were enjoying our visit. The establishment was very clean and inviting, plenty of places to sit. We ordered an appetizer of the meatballs which is a must if you visit this place. They are known for them. We also split one of the calzones (spinach, cheese and mushrooms. I ordered the Lemonchello martini., so good I had two. LOL
If you’re from out of town this Hidden Gem is one you want to find and visit! Start off with the meatballs wrapped in pizza dough and you will think you have gone to another country. They are beyond AMAZING!!!!!! The Lasagna was delicious and more than one person can possibly eat at one sitting. And did I mention the service and owners? They are the friendliest restaurant in the Chicago Metropolitan area!!!
I absolutely loved this place! Great food, Brittany was an incredible server. We had mama's lasagna, Cajun fettuccine alfredo, and thin pizza with pepperoni, sausage, onion and green peppers and the tiramisu. Everything was good portions, delicious, perfect temperature, cooked and sauced to perfection. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment we entered the door, family owned and they make you feel like family! Will definitely be back next time we come back to Chicago. First time at the new location. Amazing is all I can say. Knocked it out of thr park with the vibe. Chloe our server was awesome. Best meatballs around. Their Rasberry Habanero BBQ is homemade and tastes amazing. Never had a bad thing there. Great job guys and gals as always!
